Bad Lieutenant - 25/01/23

Nitrate Film Club could not be more proud and honoured to kickstart our first season of screenings with Abel Ferrara's 1992 cult classic 'Bad Lieutenant'.

Harvey Keitel (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction) stars as the titular detective embarking on a feature-length existential and religious crisis fuelled by a case that rattles our protagonist to the core. Tarantino could have only dreamed of making this, and represents an ideal entrance to the arthouse-grindhouse dichotomy of Abel Ferrara's filmography.

The event will take place at The Old Hairdressers, Renfield Lane, G2 6PH on Wednesday the 25th of January 2023. Doors will open to the screening at 7:30PM so there's plenty of time to get a drink and a seat, with the film commencing at 8PM.
